SUMMER THEME

Imagine you have a big calendar for your life, and each page represents a different season. In one season, you might be playing a lot, and in another, you might be studying for tests. The Bible is telling us that it's okay for things to change because each season has its own special time and purpose.

In Bible Study, we can learn that life has ups and downs, good times and tough times, just like different seasons. It teaches us to be patient and accept that not every day is the same. We can also learn to trust that God has a plan for each season in our lives.

In our own lives, we can take this lesson with us by understanding that change is a natural part of life. When we face challenges or happy moments, we can remember that it's just a season, and things will change. It encourages us to appreciate each moment, learn from experiences, and trust that God is with us through every season of life.

CAMP ACTIVITIES

Campers participate in a wide variety of activities; below are some of the activities they may participate in:

Tie Dye | Tie dye is a fabric dyeing technique where sections of
cloth are twisted, folded, or tied to create unique and vibrant
patterns. Campers will explore their creative side by trying their
hand at tie dying.
Archery | Archery is the sport, practice, or skill of using a bow to
propel arrows. Archery teaches campers patience, focus, strength,
ano so much more
Gaga Ball | Dubbed a kinder version of dodgeball, the game is
played with a soft foam ball in an octagonal "pit," and combines
the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping while trying
to hit opponents with a ball below the knees while trying to avoid
being hit yourself!
STEAM ACTIVITIES | STEAM is an educational approach to
learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts,
and Mathematics as ways to provide hands-on opportunities
for campers to learn. This summer, every camper will get to
participate in our mobile STEAM lab!

VISITING YOUR CAMPER

Due to the length of our camp, we ask that parents do not visit campers unless there are extenuating circumstances. We do not like pulling campers out of programs for visits, it's disruptive and tends to trigger campers who are prone to homesickness. If your child is struggling at camp, you will be notified by a camp director. Please feel free to call the camp and we will give you an update on your camper's experience.

CHECK-IN

CHECK-OUT

Check your camper in with a CITC staff member by 8:30 am.

Campers are required to be checked in each day by a parent/guardian. Campers are not allowed to check themselves in or out of camp.

Pickup is at 4:30 pm.

*Check-out is at 2pm on Friday.

Be courteous to our volunteers by being on time when picking up your child. If someone other than a parent/guardian will pick up your child, you must submit written permission beforehand.
