Camp in the Community exists to bring the joy, belonging, adventure, and love of camp directly into communities where children may not otherwise have access to it.
That kind of ministry takes more than one great summer. It takes people who believe in showing up consistently.
That is who The Neighbors are.
The Neighbors are Camp in the Community’s community of recurring and annual givers. Through steady support, they help make it possible for CITC to return to communities, build lasting relationships, welcome campers at no cost to their families, and continue creating spaces where children can discover new things about themselves, their neighbors, and God.

This verse has long shaped the way we think about ministry. Jesus did not love people from a distance. He moved into the neighborhood.
Camp in the Community seeks to do the same.
NOT FROM A DISTANCE
Every summer, we travel into communities throughout our region and beyond, bringing a full camp experience directly to children and families. We play. We worship. We learn. We laugh. We try new things. Most importantly, we build relationships.
