WINTER CAMP THEME
This Winter at Camp in the Community, our theme is Promise to Purpose (Luke 2:22-52).
Through the story of Simeon and Anna—two faithful followers who waited expectantly for the Savior and rejoiced when they finally saw God’s promise fulfilled.

Through their story, campers will learn about patience, hope, and what it means to trust in God’s perfect timing. They’ll discover that God keeps His promises and that we, too, can find joy in recognizing Jesus at work in our lives today.

Campers will be encouraged to look for God’s presence in their everyday moments and share the good news of His love with others—just like Simeon and Anna did through engaging Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful discussions.

CAMP ACTIVITIES
Campers participate in a wide variety of activities; below are some of the activities they may participate in:
Crafts | Camp crafts give campers the opportunity to express their creativity while building confidence and fine motor skills. From colorful creations to meaningful keepsakes, each project encourages imagination, patience, and pride in their work!
Archery | Archery is the sport, practice, or skill of using a bow to
propel arrows. Archery teaches campers patience, focus, strength,
and so much more
Gaga Ball | Dubbed a kinder version of dodgeball, the game is
played with a soft foam ball in an octagonal "pit," and combines
the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping while trying
to hit opponents with a ball below the knees while trying to avoid
being hit yourself!
STEAM ACTIVITIES | STEAM is an educational approach to
learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts,
and Mathematics as ways to provide hands-on opportunities
for campers to learn.

VISITING YOUR CAMPER
Due to the length of our camp, we ask that parents do not visit campers unless there are extenuating circumstances. We do not like pulling campers out of programs for visits, it's disruptive and tends to trigger campers who are prone to homesickness. If your child is struggling at camp, you will be notified by a camp director. Please feel free to call the camp and we will give you an update on your camper's experience.
CHECK-IN
CHECK-OUT
Check your camper in with a CITC staff member at 8:30 am.

Campers are required to be checked in each day by a parent/guardian. Campers are not allowed to check themselves in or out of camp.
Pickup is at 4:30 pm.

Be courteous to our volunteers by being on time when picking up your child. If someone other than a parent/guardian will pick up your child, you must submit written permission beforehand.
